When Life Gives You Boring Buttons...

This is one of our favorite quotes and part what guides us in our art. If we can imagine it, we can create it.
About a year ago I found these amazing pillows for my living room, but they had big, boring, brown, plastic buttons. So, I thought, why not make my own buttons to replace them? I'd never done this nor seen it done anywhere.
People warned me, "Uh glass - aren't you afraid they will break? Won't they feel uncomfortable?"
I considered the comments and forged ahead. After all, I could always replace them, right? I chose teal as it's the accent color in that room and never looked back. These new buttons completely transformed the pillows.
All of the many, many people who have sat against them find them to be comfy and are surprised to learn that the buttons didn't come with the pillows. They are delighted when I share that they were handmade by Blazing Star Arts.
Yep, if you can imagine it, it's real.
